Beautiful mid-century vintage ceramic novelty jug​/​vase with an orange-to-cream gradient iridescent lustre glaze. Features a lovely transfer print on the front of Scottish "Lucky White Heather" tied with a red and gold ribbon. The base retains its original metallic retailer sticker from the historic Aberdeen department store: "E.A. McMillan Ltd. The Place for Gift Goods. Aberdeen." (Records show the store operated from 1896 to 1965). Most likely manufactured in Czechoslovakia or Germany for import during the 1930s–1950s. Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
