Stunning original vintage Monsoon two-piece skirt suit, made in the UK and dating from the 1990s, likely early 90s. A fabulous rich purple set comprising an oversized longline jacket and matching true wrap maxi skirt. The jacket is labelled UK 18 and has the perfect exaggerated 90s silhouette with strong shoulders, longline cut, notched collar, covered buttons and front pockets. The matching UK 16 maxi skirt is a genuine wrap design, fastening at the waist with buttons – a wonderful piece of original 90s construction. Beautiful fluid fabric with a subtle sheen which really catches the light.
