Genuine hand-blown art glass bird figurine​/​paperweight by Mdina Glass, Malta — confirmed by the original paper label (Mdina crest logo) and a hand-signed "Mdina" mark on the base. Swirled cobalt and turquoise blue glass body with gold aventurine fleck inclusions, and a clear glass tail and beak for contrast. Mdina Glass has been hand-making art glass in Malta since 1968 and pieces like this are genuinely sought after by collectors of studio glass.
